Last night into the stars I was gazing,
When into my mind came a thought...
Dancing in the twilight under the sky vast
I wondered what would it be like if I were a star!
Twinkling and blinking all throughout the night,
Spreading hope and light into the human might,
They are the stars which adorn the beauteous sight!
Shining with that sparkle and glitter bright,
Scintillating the aureole with glorious illuminant,
They are the stars which make our hearts so very jubilant!
Glowing beadlike amidst the clouds,
I wondered how the stars react to our emotions galore…
Travelling across the sky with their light,
Seeping across the cloudy barrens of human plight,
They are the stars which help the emotions come to shore!
Waltzing across the oceans of feelings,
Sailing through the halo of sentiments,
They were the stars, which as I lay gazing into the sky,
Filled my mind and soul with a bliss so very pure!
